The downloadable report below (VantageTestReportXML) is used to test if Vantage was installed was successfully. This report is data independent with self contained instructions on how to  configure the report regardless of package.  Click on the link to download the file and follow the steps below to copy the xml specifications of the report into Report Studio.

1. Launch Report Studio from Cognos Connection
2. When prompted to use a package, point it to any available package
3. Chose the option to create a blank report
4. Open the downloaded report specification in a text editor or notepadd++
5. Press Ctrl+A to copy the entire contents of the file
6. In Report Studio, click on 'Tools' then select 'Open Report from Clipboard'
7. This will load the report into Report Studio, follow the onscreen instruction to configure the report before running it
