Hi All,

Here is a new HOWTO report that revisits drill through and makes the process of creating one much simpler, and even better, more functional. This new technique allows passing parameters and integrating with all the great out of the box Cognos drill through functionality like portal communication. 

The file provided is a Cognos Report Spec.  To view the example:

1. Open Report Studio
2. Tools -> Open Report From Clipboard
3. Paste the contents of drillThroughExample.xml into the box
4. Follow the on screen instructions
